There are many National Parks to visit in the greater Rathdowney area including Lamington and Mount Barney National Parks. They all have something different to offer.

Lamington National Park is probably one of the most well known. It has waterfalls, rainforest walks and the famous O'Reilly’s resort.

Mt Barney National Park is a wilderness park that is very popular with bushwalkers. It is for the experienced walker who will really appreciate the rugged wilderness of this area.

Mt Maroon is a little more accessible for the average walker. Again it is a fine example of the Scenic Rim wilderness.
